Whenever you submit an article, you should also archive the
article on your main site. Each article should have its own
page and there should also be an index page that links to
all of the articles. This index page should be linked to
from your main navigation bar. Wordpress will handle this
for you nicely.
Here are some reasons why archiving your articles is in
your best interests for promoting your site and getting
better traffic:
1. Your always adding fresh content to your site, which is
something the search engines love. This should
increase the traffic to your site. If you set up your
navigation correctly, they will be able to view all of your
articles. If you have monetized your site, you should
improve your earnings.
2. New artices mean people will want to come back to read
the latest thing. This makes your site more likely to be
bookmarked.
3. Quality content will also help to pre-sell your
newsletter.Your newsletter builds trust to sell your
products
4. Your archived articles should include reprint
information. This will get your content placed on other
sites and will aid in enhancing your reputation. It also
provides one-way links to your site.
5. Accept article submissions. Include a statement that you
accept articles from other authors. They get a backlink and
you get articles to archive and keep things fresh.
6. It keeps you in the good books of the search engines.
A with little content is deemed low value and could be
eventually banned or at least dropped of the search results
. Good fresh, constantly updated content also enhances your
sites reputation, which improves your standing with the
search engines.
