Continual Marketing

To be effective, your marketing strategy needs to be
continually reviewed. Once you have a system that works,
it can be tempting to take your foot off the gas and
save some money. This is a false economy. Marketing and,
more importantly, fresh marketing is fundamental to your
success.
The importance of persistence marketing can be seen if you
look at companies such as Pepsi. You would think that they
have no need to advertise. After all, we all know about
Pepsi. If they did not advertise, eventually they would see
their sales dropping and their profits plummeting.
If they stopped marketing, it may make customers suspicious,
as if you have lost faith in your product or you no longer
care about customers. By not advertising you are also
allowing competitors to overtake you and grab the attention
of your current customers.
Keep an open mind when you are reviewing your marketing.
Investigate ways of appealing to more customers through
innovative marketing techniques. This way you will not
only keep your existing customers but you will also attract
new ones, too!
Change is Good
You also need to add some variation now and then so that
your customers don't get bored. When you find a good
marketing strategy that is working for you, you don't want
to change it too much. You want to keep a good thing going.
However, you need to tweak it here and there to keep it
interesting to your past and present customers. Someone who
has been with you a long time will get bored with the same
thing and may try someone else who gets their attention.
So don't stop marketing but keep it interesting to more new
and current customers. You might want to change your ads or
try a new technique or add a new marketing technique to a
current one. Whatever you do, just make sure that you keep
your marketing active so you are constantly bringing in new
customers and keeping the existing ones.
An excellent way of generating a flurry of interest is to
have a special promotion for your product. Ideas include a
large discount or competition. A promotion like this is
sure to keep your business young, fresh and ahead of the
competition!
